VAM Summit 2001
Visual AccountMate held their 2001 dealer conference in October 2001 at the Embassy
Suites in San Rafael CA. Nearly 100 ACCPAC VARs have signed up to sell the AccountMate
line of midrange accounting software, and many of them attended the conference to meet
their new partners. The Lizards were able to cement their position as the premier musical
group of accounting software vendors by garnering the featured entertainment slot on
Saturday evening. Highlights included a hilarious set of comedy by John Kiernan, and a
jam session with AccountMate VP of Sales Michael Horn, who proved to be as dynamic
musically as he is personally.
