What's
a Screen Pop?
|
Have you ever called to order something and been greeted by someone who instantly knew who you were and what you wanted? It's impressive, it saves everyone time, and it's a great way to personalize your customer relationships. "Hello, Mr. Jones, did your package arrive yet? It was shipped yesterday." "Hello, this is Harold from XYZ Company. Is Mr. Smith in?" "Happy birthday, Harold, I'll connect you." Screen Pop functionality uses caller ID to identify the incoming call, look the number up in your contact manager, and load the caller's record onto your computer screen as you answer the phone. You enter the conversation well-informed and ready to get down to business. Works with most popular contact managers, including ACT! and Goldmine.

What's
Unified Messaging?
|
You get phone
calls. You get email. Sometimes it seems like you spend more time retrieving and organizing all these messages than you do responding to them! Unified messaging is a feature that integrates your voice mail with your email. It allows you to handle all your messages from your email client. Your voice messages appear right alongside your email messages, and you can play them back with a single click. The key to this feature is Ethernet-based telephony, which uses your computer network wiring to carry the phone signal to your desktop. This technology used to cost tens of thousands of dollars. Give us a call to see how cost-effective it's become!

What's
VOIP?
|
VOIP is "Voice Over IP", "IP" being either the Internet or a dedicated Internal network ("Intranet"). If you have high speed internet access to a remote location, such as your home or a branch office, we can set up a phone at the remote site that works just like the extension phones in your office. This eliminates any local or long distance per-minute charges and the need to set up a separate account. Transfer calls to or from the remote location simply by dialing an extension. You'll also save by consolidating your phone service at one central location with just one base charge. Often the increased call volume at the central location will allow you to negotiate a better per-minute rate as well. Give us a call for a quick payback analysis. We think you'll be impressed!
